Hello, and welcome to my website, mcgrathwriting.com. I am a St. Louis-based communications professional with more than 30 years of experience as a freelance writer/editor and publication manager. During that time, I’ve built a reputation for providing clients with clearly written, well-organized copy that needs little editing.

Much of my work centers on writing annual reports, feature stories, patient and physician profiles, editorials and brochures for nonprofit foundations and health care-related organizations. I often am asked to write about people’s life experiences while at the same time explaining new technology in easily understood terms. I am skilled at bringing together the personal and clinical aspects of these assignments to make them compelling stories that illustrate my clients’ commitment to their field and the people they serve.
